Welcome to Highway to Well Retreats

Hi I'm Sally, I'm 57, a Nutrition and Health Coach and founder of Highway to Well.​

My journey started years ago when both of my parents suffered ill health and were unable to enjoy their retirement.  My Dad with Parkinson's Disease and later my Mum with Dementia.  I became curious about illness and how it could be connected to nutrition and lifestyle.  My curiosity took me on a journey with the International Institute of Nutritional Health.  There I studied and qualified as a Nutrition and Health Coach.

I'm constantly learning and discovering new things in my bid to enjoy a healthy retirement!  I love helping others on the same journey and day retreats are a great way to do this. 

 

These day retreats are all about strength, nourishment, and vitality for women in their 40s and beyond.  ​Step into a day designed to help you shine — inside and out. The Radiant You Retreats are a wellness experience created especially for women blending nutrition,  movement and inspiration in a supportive, uplifting space.

Each retreat day offers something slightly different from learning about energy to dealing with stress, from Pilates to yoga, breathwork to meditation. 

 

Learn practical tips for staying well and energised through nutrition, and savour a delicious, nourishing lunch prepared with love.

The Venue...

The Highway to Well Day Retreat takes place at a beautiful venue in the heart of the Essex countryside, located in Aythorpe Roding near Great Dunmow. With easy access, the space is perfect for exploring nourishment, for relaxation and chatting with fellow retreaters. Featuring a hot tub and infrared sauna, along with spacious and comfortable seating areas perfect for unwinding. A dedicated yoga studio provides the ideal setting for movement and mindfulness practices, making this venue a truly nourishing experience.

Come and relax in our cosy retreat space, learn how nourishing your gut can help you feel good both mentally and physically.  Enjoy watching (& tasting!) some healthy treats being prepared, wrap up for a walk 'n' talk out in the gorgeous surrounding countryside and learn about breathwork as you wind down in the studio.

Step into Spring, rejuvinate your body after a long Winter and learn how to nourish your mind and body with food.  Awaken your body and prepare for Spring with a gorgeous yoga flow in the afternoon and enjoy some relaxation in the sauna and hot tub.

You'll learn plenty on the day retreats but If you're stuck in a rut or you’re finding it hard to reach your goals; losing weight, boosting your energy, or simply want to feel healthier then 1-2-1 health coaching could be the support you need.

 

With personalised guidance, encouragement, and practical strategies tailored to your lifestyle, you’ll have the tools and accountability to make lasting changes and move towards a healthier, more energised you.

Health coaching is all about helping you bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be with your health and wellbeing. Through 1-2-1 sessions online via video call, you’ll work with me to identify your goals, uncover what’s been holding you back, and create a realistic, sustainable plan that fits your lifestyle. Whether you want to improve your eating habits, increase your fitness, manage stress, or simply feel more energised day-to-day, health coaching provides tailored support, accountability, and motivation.

 

What it's not...It’s not about quick fixes! It’s about empowering you to build lasting sustainable habits and achieve meaningful results.
